Audi stole the limelight at the recently held Geneva International Motor Show by introducing a fleet of exciting new models. And they all had one thing in common: They were all stunning on the outside as well as under the hood. Among the models making an appearance were the Audi Q8 sport concept, Audi RS 5 Coupé, Audi RS 3 Sportback, and Audi SQ5 TFSI.

Meet the world-beating Audi Q8 Sport concept

The Audi Q8 Sport concept makes a strong impression in the full-size category with its dynamic, luxurious, and naturally sporty qualities. The car exudes prestige in appearance, as well as with its world first technology. The Q8 Sport is powered by a groundbreaking combination of a 3.0 TFSI six-cylinder engine, a mild hybrid system, and an electric compressor. The result: The car goes from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.7 seconds – topping off at 275 km/h. It's not only a great sprinter but equally impressive on the long haul with a cruise range of over 1,200 km. Sticking to the cutting-edge tech theme, the concept boasts an enhanced Audi virtual cockpit and a contact analog head-up display that uses intelligent augmented reality technology to merge the real and virtual worlds.

Extraordinary beauty and power: The Audi RS 5 Coupé

The Gran Turismo of the RS models, the new Audi RS 5 Coupé offers visually-pleasing aesthetics and a high degree of everyday usability. The top model in the A5 family is powered by a revamped 2.9 TFSI V6 biturbo engine, sportily tuned eight-speed tiptronic, and quattro permanent all-wheel drive to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds. With the optional RS dynamic package it hits a top speed of 280 km/h. On the looks front, the RS 5 Coupé is inspired by the distinctive racing details of the Audi 90 quattro IMSA GTO to create a dynamic exterior. Inside, the high-performance theme continues with RS sport seats, flat-bottomed RS sport leather steering wheel, a special RS display in the Audi virtual cockpit and RS logos. There's also top-shelf technologies, including a head-up display, Matrix LED headlights and driver assistance systems for greater safety, comfort, and efficiency.

The Audi RS 3 Sportback – a feisty compact that packs a mighty punch

At the same time, Audi is further developing assisted and piloted systems for other traffic situations, such as on highways or country roads. In the new Audi A8 launching next year, customers will for the first time be able to use automated-driving functions in traffic jams at speeds up to 60 km/h.

A well-adjusted SUV: The Audi SQ5 TFSI

Making its European show debut is the Audi SQ5 TFSI. The new flagship of Q5 family is propelled by a turbocharged three-litre V6 engine to go from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.4 seconds. Its top-notch handling comes from the quattro permanent all-wheel drive and quick gear changes with the eight-speed tiptronic. The SUV's agility is further enhanced with the optional sport differential and dynamic steering with variable ratios. Along with these two components, the Audi drive select dynamic handling system, tiptronic and standard damper control allows the driver to choose multiple modes. The height of the suspension can be adjusted too for specific driving situations.
